In the second in our Contemporary Masters series on what inspires me I'm taking a look at Frank Lloyd-Wright (1867-1959). He started The Prairie School of design, where designs were suited to a modern way of living instead of following old , European designs. Sometimes the designs could look extreme - such as the house called Fallingwater which is built on a river ravine http://www.fallingwater.org/ However bold, the design blends in beautifully with it's surroundings. This reminds us that we should step out of our comfort zone from time to time to achieve something stylish and beautiful. Take a look at these light fittings we've used in a kitchen design, which in a small way allowed our client to step out of their comfort zone just a little bit:
