Colour, fittings, furnishings and soft fabrics can make a huge impact to the look of a home. Julie’s applied vision for the use of colour, light and space can dramatically transform a living area. A simple accessory such as a mirror, rug, cushions can enhance the look and feel of a home. Julie uses her skills and expertise to source the right kind of soft furnishings and bespoke pieces of furniture for each client, to meet their tastes and budget and to maximise the space to its full potential.
Julie can be very insightful in order to make a house work well for the lifestyle of the people living there. Above all, Julie listens to the direction of the client rather than bringing in just her personal views on style and interior design. This is all-important in making sure the client feels relaxed and comfortable in their vision for their new-look home.
“We appointed Julie Bliss to co-ordinate and oversee the interior of a two year extension project. This involved an extensive barn conversion to house a living room, study, two guest rooms with bathroom, serving kitchen to the indoor swimming pool and a large playroom to the basement. Additional to these rooms, Julie designed and had made bespoke furniture to our sitting and dining room which she oversaw the fitting of whilst we were away on holiday.
"Julie was very enterprising and came up with a traditional feel to the house with a modern twist which we are delighted with. With our busy lifestyles and four children, Julie has transformed our home to a fabulous living space which is both practical and stylish."
